Here is a little bit about me, and some comments from my clients who make this line of work so rewarding to us coaches.

My name is Jonathan Levey and I have been a Teaching Professional for over 10 years. From playing the game from the early age of 6, I have always enjoyed the opportunities and joy the game of golf can bring.

Being able to develop my love of the game and become an instructor has given me great personal satisfaction, when I see my clients reach and then surpass their goals, helping them to find the same enjoyment I have with the game of Golf.

Very early in my career as a Teaching Professional, and as a player, it became obvious that Putting was very under practiced and taught part of the game. Yet by statistics, the Putter is the most used club in the bag and the hardest to be consistent with. That's when I decided to start specialising in Putting as the main focus of my business.

Currently I am attached with Elite Golf Academies owned by Academy Director Steven Bainbridge. I am delighted with the partnership Jonathan Levey Golf has with Elite Golf Academies. Elite Golf Academies is known for its high standards of professional golf coaching and its state of the art modern coaching facilities.

Being a resident of the North East I am currently based out of Elite Golf Academies Linden Hall facility which boasts two swing studios, amazing short game and putting greens area, 18 hole Championship golf course, and a hotel and Spa.

“After a period of missing short putts last year I started using a new face balanced putter and retired my heal toe balanced putter. Coming out of the winter my scores weren’t improving so I counted the number of putts taken in my rounds, 43, 44… - action required.
I took an hour lesson with Jonathan. Analysis indicated that the new putter together with a forward positioning of the ball in my stance meant that I was striking the ball with more loft then what I have on my driver. Im now back with my Stalwart putter and employing better putting mechanics (which I now understand and appreciate). Progress is progressive but short putts no longer fill me with dread and medium length putts are regarded as a good opportunity to score well.”
